You can choose which notifications you'll receive in Yellowdig. You can enable or disable email or in-app notifications for new posts, replies to your posts, new reactions to your posts, new @mentions, followers' activities and more. In this article we will discuss how to do so, both for an individual community you're a part of (community-level), as well as for your entire Yellowdig user account (global settings).
How to Change Your Global Notification Settings
These settings are for your whole Yellowdig account, rather than just for an individual community you're a member of. Click on your User Icon Menu and then click on Account Settings.
Then click on Notifications , below Settings.
Use the toggle switches to turn on or off any settings you'd like. When you're done customizing settings, click Submit to save the changes.
See below video of the above steps, please click here if you're unable to view the view below:
Override existing community-level notifications
If you change your global community settings that change will impact any new community that you join, but it will not impact exist in communities that you were a part of. If you want to override the settings of any existing community that you're a part of you can do so with the "clear all community-level settings" button.

To access your community-level notification settings, while you're inside of the community click on Settings - Notifications. Use the toggle switches to turn on or off any settings you'd like.
