To integrate Yellowdig with Blackboard, make sure you have your LMS Key and Secret for your Institutional Organization. Your Institutional Organization is the broadest Organization that belongs to your institution. For example, if you are an Administrator at Yellowdig University, your Institutional Organization might be called "Yellowdig University". To create a Yellowdig assignment in a Blackboard course, see this guide.

  6. If you wish to distribute keys and secrets to faculty on an ad hoc basis, set the "Default Configuration" to Set separately for each link. Otherwise, select Set globally.

  7. If Set globally is selected, enter the key and secret for your Yellowdig organization in the respective "Tool Provider" fields.

  8. Set "Send User Data" to Send user data over any connection.

  9. For "User fields to send", make sure each item is selected, as Yellowdig relies on Name and Email Address to authenticate users and Role in Course to set user permissions.
