Add Yellowdig to your Course(s)
This guide will walk you through the steps to install Yellowdig in Jenzabar using LTI 1.3. Please follow the steps carefully to ensure a successful integration.
Prerequisites
- Administrative access to your Jenzabar eLearning platform.
Overview of installation steps
- Complete LTI 1.3 Setup Steps 1 & 2 below inside your Jenzabar environment.
- Send your client ID and additional details in the Yellowdig integration form.
- Wait for Yellowdig to confirm via email that your setup is completed.
After completing the steps above and getting the confirmation in step 3, you can then place the Yellowdig app in your course(s).
LTI 1.3 Setup Steps
STEP 1: Add Yellowdig Learning Tool
1. Visit your Jenzabar LMS with administrative rights and access the Learning Tools page.
2. Select the option to Manage all tools.
3. Select the option to Add a new learning tool (located at the bottom of the page).
4. Enter an appropriate name, category, and description for the tool. Description is an optional field and can be left blank.
5. Select the checkboxes for Share this tool and Add this to the list of featured tools.
6. Ensure that the LTI version in the drop-down displays “LTI 1.3” and enter the following URLs:
a) Location URL: https://yellowdig.app/
b) Initiate login URL: https://api.yellowdig.app/lti3/auth
c) Redirection URI(s): https://api.yellowdig.app/lti3/unpack
d) Keyset URL: https://api.yellowdig.app/lti3/jwks
7. Save these values because you'll provide the ClientID, Issuer, Public Keyset URL, Open ID Connect Endpoint, Access Token URL, and Deployment ID (optional) to the Yellowdig in the next step.
8. Select the default display option for the tool.
9. Check that permissions are all enabled for Shared information in Advanced setup.
STEP 2: Submit Yellowdig Integration Form
Submit the Integration form to Yellowdig , including the URLs and details from STEP 1 : sub step 7.
Including your ClientID, Issuer, Public Keyset URL, Open ID Connect Endpoint, Access Token URL, and Deployment ID (optional).
Once we've received your form submission, we will provision the integration on our side and let you know once you’re all set!
Add Yellowdig to your Course(s)
Next, the learning designer or instructor for the course(s) will follow the course-level setup guide here to get Yellowdig to display to your instructors and learners.
